Job Summary:
The Licensed HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC equipment in the food manufacturing facility. This includes chillers, freezers, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems. The HVAC Technician must be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC issues and ensure that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair all HVAC equipment in the food manufacturing facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on all HVAC equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Calibrate and test all HVAC equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Keep up to date on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices.
- Work closely with other maintenance personnel to ensure that all HVAC equipment is properly integrated with other systems in the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
- EPA Section 608 certification required.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC issues.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
