Our diverse staff includes Construction Managers, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Estimators, and Scheduling experts.

We are growing and currently have a full-time, long-term opportunity for a dynamic, success driven Cost Estimator  to join our growing cost estimator team in Seattle, WA. In this junior-level role, you would work with leading industry professionals that will help you build & develop cost estimating skills for vertical and horizontal construction projects. Core responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Perform quantity take-off in a manner and level of detail consistent with the project goals.
• Produce timely and accurate work products/deliverables in accordance with standards.
• Maintain an organized file structure (electronic and physical) for efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with variety of project participants (Architect, Engineers, Owner, General Contractor, Subcontractors, Vendors, Material Suppliers, etc.)
• Independently research cost estimating-related topics (technology, techniques, etc.), and present information to other staff.
• Provide support to other projects and initiatives as needed.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred; or any degree with construction/design-related experience. 
• Foundation understanding of principles of cost estimating, construction elements, and methodologies 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required 
• Ability to understand and interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions) at all levels of design.
• Proficiency of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams). Prior experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar industry software big plus.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail; positive attitude and ability to work as a team member.
• Strong organizational skills and time management skills
