Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Cost Analyst to join our team remotely. As a Project Cost Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing project budgets, invoices, and forecasts to ensure adherence to contractual and project requirements. Minimum Experience and Education:
- 5-7 years of general accounting/financial support experience; 3 years of program financial support experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in project financial functions including budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis
- Expertise in Unanet Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
- Strong grasp of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Familiarity with various contract designs and structures
- Above-average proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status
- Ability to maintain or obtain clearance at the Federal Civilian Public Trust and/or Department of Defense Secret level as required by contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex analysis of project budgets and schedules to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
- Support various contract phases from initiation to close, including invoicing and collections
- Coordinate and resolve financial compliance issues with governmental agencies
- Monitor project financial accounts and report on spending versus plan
- Interface with management to provide project financial data and resolve issues
- Prepare monthly project financial reports and ensure accuracy of project financials
- Track subcontractor funding allocations and maintain internal controls
- Monitor timesheet compliance and contractor hours
- Support business development pricing and cost proposal preparation
- Conduct project expense management, including travel oversight
