Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm We invite you to join our Orange Women's Center team as a Health Information Representative. This full time career opportunity has a Monday - Friday 8:00 AM-4:30pm PM schedule, and is located at our outpatient practice in Orange, CA.
In this Health Information Representative position you'll get to:
- Answer phones, kindly talk patients through the steps and answer their questions and concerns.
- Organize and prioritize requests for medical records, and route medical records appropriately based on patient's time of exam.
- Copy electronic medical records and images onto CDs.
- Provide courteous and professional service to attorneys, referring physicians, and patients requesting medical records.
- May occasionally drive to nearby centers and/or medical offices to deliver or retrieve medical films/CD's.
- May cross-train and help in other departments as needed.
- Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Pay Scale: $16.50 to $17.00/hour
Requirements We're looking for dependable and professional candidates with at least 6+ months of medical/radiology office work experience (or completed medical office training education/program), computer skills, a High School Diploma, and medical terminology knowledge. The ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, clean driving record (No SR-22, DUI or suspended license within the last 7 years), and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds are also a must!
