Job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of our construction projects. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring project timelines are met. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities:
1. Manage the overall construction
2. Coordinate and oversee all on-site activities, including subcontractor management, material procurement, and construction progress.
3. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
5. Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
6. Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being performed according to specifications, drawings, and project plans.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, including foremen, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
9. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any construction-related issues or concerns.
10. Oversee the final completion and turnover of the project, ensuring all required inspections and certifications are obtained.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, overseeing commercial or residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
