Posi ๔on Overview: FAR Group is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient functioning of our office, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a productive work environment for our employees. This full-time position is based in Stafford, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee office procedures, including implementing and maintaining efficient filing systems and record-keeping processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures, fostering a culture of adherence throughout the office.
- Maintain office equipment and supplies, coordinating procurement and vendor relationships as necessary.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and the landlord, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of any issues.
- Assist with budget preparation and control expenses within the allocated budget, ensuring cost-effective office operations.
- Organize company events, meetings, and conferences, coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth execution.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members, including booking accommodations and managing itineraries.
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees by complying with health and safety regulations and implementing necessary measures.
- Foster effective communication within the office, promoting a positive work atmosphere and addressing employee concerns as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in office management or a similar role, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing administrative staff, providing leadership and guidance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of office procedures, policies, and budgeting, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Highly organized, efficient, proactive, and resourceful with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude, demonstrating a track record of effectively managing an office environment.
