Job description
Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for a Quality Manager in Louisville, KY!
Shift: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility
A Direct Hire Opportunity
Principal Responsibilities:
Manage plant food safety systems to eliminate/mitigate food safety threats and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of production equipment and its impact on quality. Assist in new product development and oversee QC Lab and systems.
Provide on-site assistance to customers, resolve complaints, and oversee customer sampling program.
Serve as backup for Plant Manager and contribute to plant leadership team.
Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
5-10 years of experience in food manufacturing management with demonstrated success in Quality roles.
Strong quantitative and interpersonal skills, ability to think critically.
Self-directed with the ability to manage associates and work independently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Certification in Lean/Six-Sigma desired.
