Certification Technician 

Job Overview

Title: Certification Technician 
Reports to : Quality Manager
Location : Kent, WA 
Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Schedule Type: (100% Onsite) Day Shift:  Monday through Friday, 7A to 3:30PM. 
Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday – Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)

Position Summary

Employees in this position work to create accurate Certifications from customer supplied purchase orders, specifications, drawings, work packets, and other documentation.

The ideal Candidate will be: Responsibilities   Qualifications Education/Previous Experience Requirements Essential Mental/Physical Demands
Standing for long periods in a manufacturing environment. Walking throughout the facility. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis. Extensive use of hands in writing, use of the computer and other office equipment. Use of safety equipment when necessary (goggles, gloves, and hearing protection). Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, chemical fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Due to the manufacturing environment, safety glasses, and hearing protection may be necessary.

Salary Range for position: $21.00 - $28.00.
