Adecco Medical & Science is assisting a local client in their search to fill a Chemist position in Clark, NJ. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Duration: 9 month contract (possibility for extension)
Location: Clark, NJ (onsite)
Pay rate: $22/hour
Schedule: traditional first shift (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities for this position include:
Support development of new Hair Care innovations and breakthrough technologies by producing lab batches of new formulations
Evaluate formula performance and stability through sensory evaluation and measurement of pH and viscosity
Maintain a clean and organized working area within the lab
Ensure business continuity by working with the Hair Care Team to evaluate raw materials for vendor strategy and compulsory requirements.
Communicate technical findings within the Hair Care Teams
Develop expertise of the Hair Care Team in Chemistry
Qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors' degree in biology, chemistry, or related field is required.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
6-12 months experience is required
Creative and self-motivated
Be able to think out of the box and willing to take an extra step to get job done.
Must be legally eligible to work in the US on an on-going basis.
Experience and understanding of formulation of, surfactant and emulsion systems. Hair product formulation a plus
