Job description
TITLE : Senior Project Leader Development
Duties : Manage and coordinate overall projects in the area of development in accordance with the customer requirements to ensure product development and support which is on schedule, adheres to the budget and the development status, from the concept phase through series production. Analyze and evaluate changes, cooperate in negotiations including volume and costs of changes, and assure implementation within development area. Clarify the technical requirements and ensure the compilation of quotations with regards to development costs on the basis of the customer requirements and within the defined general conditions of the customer division in collaboration with the competent departments. Ensure clarification of the technical implementation of change requests from the customer in collaboration with the development engineers at the customer’s and the project organization and ensuring the changes are carried out. Ensure the creation of project plans with regards to the tasks and deadlines. Obtaining the agreement of the affected departments for approval by the relevant manager. Compile periodic project reports, according to agreed upon rules, and presentations before and during the term of the project as well as documentation on the project conclusion for transfer to the management. Provide technical leadership for project associates and/or sub-project leaders. This position requires 20% domestic and 10% international travel.
SALARY: $165,000-$172,000/year

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related field of study and three (3) years as a Project Manager, Lead Design Engineer, Engineering Project Leader, Lead Engineer, or a closely related occupation.
