Job description
We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced recruiting manager to supervise our recruitment team and ensure all recruitment operations run smoothly. The recruiting manager's responsibilities include educating the recruitment team on effective interviewing techniques, managing our recruitment databases, and analyzing current recruiting technology. You should also be able to prepare progress reports on all recruiting campaigns.
To be successful as a recruiting manager, you should keep abreast of the latest developments in labor legislation to determine the impact it may have on current recruitment procedures. Ultimately, an outstanding recruiting manager should be able to make sound recruitment decisions and demonstrate excellent communication, management, and problem-solving skills.
Director of Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:
- Evaluating current recruiting procedures to determine whether they can be modified for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Modify current recruiting procedures or develop new procedures as needed.
- Monitoring key recruitment metrics to identify and resolve issues affecting recruiting procedures.
- Supervising and providing overall guidance to the recruitment team.
- Evaluating the performance of the recruitment team.
- Regularly attending conferences, seminars, and other industry events to network and develop long-lasting professional relationships.
- Liaising with company department heads to anticipate and plan for future recruitment needs.
- Review and select suitable job advertising options.
- Conducting interviews with job applicants and creating a shortlist of suitable candidates.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods, best practices, applicable policies, and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in High-volume part-time & full-time positions on a nationwide scale.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment software.
Director of Talent Acquisition Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business management, psychology, or related field. Or equivalent experience.
- Must have National high volume hiring experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of staffing recruitment experience.
Position Details:
Full-time salaried position in our Aurora, IL office.
Note - This is not a Remote Position
401K Plan with Company Match.

Salary range based on relevant experience: $75,000 - $90,000.
