Job description
Serve as the Department of Pathology resource for the Billing
Assure the correct bill formats are assigned to each reimburser
Ensure charges and contracted rates are updated timely and accurately
Assist billers with resolving billing batch errors,
Liaise with Epic Beaker analyst to move service requests forward to resolution,
Ensure all Epic Work queues are addressed timely
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency,
A minimum of one year of billing experience in a hospital, home care or hospice setting is required,
Knowledge of federal and state billing and insurance regulations
Good communication skill both verbal and written,
Knowledge of medical terminology,
Able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Computer proficiency and have a strong interpersonal relationship skills
Successful completion of all Orientation Programs,
