Position Title : Part-Time Instructor of Developmental and/or College-level English courses such as ENG 092: Reading, Writing and Reasoning; ENG 109 Critical Thinking along with a co-requisite ENG 101 English Composition I.

General Summary: Middlesex Community College has instituted courses for students who place into developmental, pre-college English. ENG 092: Reading, Writing, & Reasoning is an integrated developmental reading and writing course for students whose reading score is below that required for ENG 101 English Composition I. For those students who reach the ENG 101 eligible reading score but who need support for their writing, a co-requisite model is employed; students enroll in ENG 101 English Composition I and co-enroll in ENG 099 Writing Skills Seminar for an additional 3 credits with the same instructor (ALP). For those unfamiliar with these models, professional development is available.

Salary: The salary assigned will be as determined by the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement per credit salary chart.
