(Contingent upon available funding): 90,000.00 - 121,000.00, Salary Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5, may work weekends and evenings Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join OSU as the Manager of our LaunchPad Center for Advanced Air Mobility Industry Consortium. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating collaborative efforts between our research university and corporate partners to address complex industry-wide challenges. The manager will oversee the facilitation, administration, and growth of the consortium, ensuring the successful development of Working Groups and fostering an environment conducive to joint ventures, startups, and the creation of jointly owned intellectual property.Key Responsibilities: Consortium Leadership: Provide strategic vision and leadership for the Industry Consortium, aligning activities with the university's research priorities and industry needs. Cultivate relationships with corporate members, understanding their challenges and opportunities to drive collaboration. Working Group Facilitation: Develop and manage Working Groups focused on specific industry challenges, fostering an environment that encourages open communication and collaboration. Facilitate regular meetings, workshops, and events to promote the exchange of ideas and the development of innovative solutions. Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of collaborative projects within Working Groups, ensuring milestones are met, and outcomes align with consortium goals. Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to support project initiatives and drive tangible results. Membership Engagement: Work closely with corporate members to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Identify opportunities to expand membership and actively promote the benefits of consortium participation. Intellectual Property Management: Collaborate with legal and research teams to navigate intellectual property issues and ensure fair and equitable distribution of rights within jointly owned projects. Oversee the creation and maintenance of a robust intellectual property portfolio resulting from consortium activities. Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the consortium budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with strategic objectives. Explore funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships to sustain and grow the consortium.PLEASE SUBMIT RESUME, COVER LETTER, AND 3 PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES Special Instructions to Applicants THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED AT OSU TULSA. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. 

Proven experience in managing industry consortia, collaborative research initiatives, or technology partnerships. Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with corporate partners, faculty, and other stakeholders. Understanding of intellectual property management and technology transfer processes. Financial acumen and experience in budget management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
