Job description

We have a 7-month onsite Help Desk Support Representative contract at our client offices in Jackson, Mississippi. The anticipated start is early March through September 2024, and may be extended by our client.

This is strictly an onsite assignment. No other working arrangements will be entertained. Do not apply for this assignment unless you are willing to fully commit to always working onsite in Jackson, Mississippi. If the Help Desk Support Representative asks for alternate working arrangements in the interview they may be immediately disqualified. If alternate working arrangements are asked for after the Help Desk Support Representative starts work, they may immediately be released from the contract.

Our client has a current goal for every community to effectively use a World-Class Data System to improve outcomes. This goal is to increase the availability of quality data to drive decisions that improve outcomes. Our client is planning to satisfy this goal in part by modernizing their current information system along with improving the quality of data in connected systems. This will include web-based application development, and creation of dashboards and reports that will improve access, accuracy, and ease of use for all stakeholders.

The Help Desk Support Representative will focus on providing all levels of support to our clients' customer base, both remotely and onsite. The Help Desk Support Representative will be the initial point of contact with end users requesting Information Technology Support. The Help Desk Support Representative should have experience in Desktop\Laptop repair and troubleshooting, software installation, hardware implementation and active directory administration. The Help Desk Support Representative must also have experience providing remote assistance using various platforms and must be experienced with providing support for Office 365 applications. The Help Desk Support Representative must be good at organizing, prioritizing, and planning. The Help Desk Support Representative must be able to update and maintain Help Desk records in accordance with established support procedures. The Help Desk Support Representative must also have excellent communication skills.
