IT Trainer - Washington, DC - Law firm - $75-100k - A hybrid work schedule is available with this opportunity!
Attention all tech-savvy trainers! Join a dynamic and growing law firm as an Information Technology Trainer. In this role, you'll design and deliver engaging training programs for end users, ensuring they have the skills to utilize our technology to its fullest potential. You'll also provide troubleshooting support and collaborate with other IT teams on special projects. If you have a passion for technology and a knack for teaching, we want you on our team!
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of law firm technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, iManage or other document management systems
- Familiarity with eFiling, Aderant, pdfDocs, InterAction, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, time/billing applications, telephone skills, and mobile applications preferred
- Proficiency in eLearning software and online training tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and organized, with strong presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience training and supporting users in a law firm environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver interactive in-person and virtual training programs
- Troubleshoot and provide end-user support
- Partner with other Technology Trainers and IT teams
- Conduct computer training for new hires
- Assist in developing course curriculum
- Provide secondary support for applications and backup support for the Help Desk
- Create new learning opportunities outside the classroom
- Test the limits of technology and understand its potential for the Firm
- Available to work flexible hours, including overtime
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle difficult users professionally
- Willingness to travel to various office locations and training venues as needed
