Job description
Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Lab Technician near Kenosha, WI.
Temp to Hire
Shift: Monday -Friday 7am-4pm
Pay: based on experience
Area of Responsibility:
The QC Technician operates under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager. The position is responsible for testing raw materials and finished products to ensure correct composition and quality. He or she participates in the quality control aspects of the job including lab testing, material acceptance, and documentation of the results. In addition, duties include laboratory methods development for product applications / performance testing in the laboratory and field.
Responsibilities:
Following all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality
Calibrate lab equipment and instrumentation
Perform quality control tests on raw materials and finished products
Document tests results
Develop methods for performance testing of products in the laboratory and field
Prepare Certificates of Analysis on finished products
Other duties as assigned
Required skills:
Bachelor’s degree in science and minimum 2 years of experience recommended.
Experienced with pH, density, viscosity, and % water required.
Proficiency in science and math.
Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet goals and ensure product quality.
Willing to meet on-call obligations as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively.
