Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complex process of connecting new electricity generators to the electric grid
- Understanding of solar and interconnection procedures across the US
- Responsible for application compliance for ISO, RTO, Utility regulations
- Manage and negotiate solar agreements as well as external vendors and consultants
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in solar / interconnection engineering (ISO/RTO)
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Power systems, etc
- Knowledge of ISO/ RTO policies and regulations, as well as FERC transmission tariffs
- 15% travel
