Job description



The American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) is the only nationally recognized interdisciplinary professional membership organization that represents the interests of the entire medical genetics team including clinical geneticists, clinical laboratory geneticists, and genetic counselors. Together, the ACMG and its members engage in coordinated efforts to improve patient care, ensure optimal reimbursement for genetic service providers, establish standards of care and laboratory policy, and educate members about advances important to their practices.

About The Opportunity

ACMG is seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will use their knowledge of business strategies and software programs to collaborate with departments and third-party vendors to improve the overall user experience, maximize productivity and communication. The Business Systems Analyst will also evaluate the overall impact that new systems will have on ACMG, make recommendations for advancements, and integrate IT solutions when necessary. This role will also be required to work with external vendors to ensure ACMG’s websites and servers are updated and maintained. In addition, this role will be responsible for tracking website analytics, generating reports and ensuring software applications and resources are up to date. This role will report directly to the Director of Administration and Operations. A successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail capabilities, experience with front- and back-end website development, and the ability to problem-solve and collaborate with key stakeholders within ACMG and third-party vendors.

ADA SPECIFICATIONS

This is a largely sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs. Ability to travel domestically occasionally, up to 10%.
