About the Role:
We are currently seeking a strategic Vice President of Finance to drive the growth of our business in collaboration with the CEO and other company leaders. In this role, you will serve as the Chief Resource Allocator, developing a comprehensive understanding of our business and market to guide investment decisions effectively. This presents a rare opportunity to contribute to the expansion of a company with significant market traction and the potential to revolutionize cloud computing. Your impact will be profound.

We are proud to announce our recent $50M Series B funding, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with enthusiastic participation from existing investors Addition, General Catalyst, and the South Park Commons Fund.

Location: Our headquarters are in San Francisco, with relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of actionable financial plans and forecasts, guiding resource allocation across all company functions.
Develop detailed customer segments and revenue metrics to enhance visibility into our growth drivers and optimize customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Manage cash flow and conduct scenario analyses to ensure long-term financial health.
Identify and evaluate unique investment opportunities, optimizing risk for new projects.
Continuously monitor, adjust, and communicate financial plans to foster financial literacy, transparency, and alignment within the company.
Oversee accounting structures, systems, and operating procedures to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Nurture strong relationships with investors through comprehensive reporting and board materials, enhancing their understanding of key business drivers and long-term strategy.
Develop fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with potential investment partners, and coordinate new funding rounds.
Build and lead a high-performing finance team that serves as a trusted partner to the organization.
Manage vendor negotiations, contracts, and procurement processes.

Experienced in scaling product-led businesses with a self-serve revenue model.
Collaborative mindset, working closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to allocate spend and optimize revenue funnels.
