Overview Electric Boats (EBs) Human Resources Business Operations (HRBO) Team is looking for a Supervisor. The HRBO Supervisor provides fundamental support to EBs HRBO team, developing and managing the team, the teams requirements, functional metrics and day to day operations. These activities include but are not limited to Leave Management, Travel and Transport, and HR Contract Management. This position reports to the HRBO and PIE Manager.
This individual should be a candidate who can:
- Work across EB to support team members as a change agent and key influencer
- Who can build and maintain a team who supports HRBO functions today and into the future
- Who leads with empathy, agility, and strong communication skills needed to support a successful team
- Use influence to challenge "the way things have always been done" and succeed in moving these things to an efficient, streamlined, organized and structured method
- Who promotes a positive strong 100% customer service style
Responsibilities include:
- Provide mentorship to employees while leading change
- Identify and eliminate barriers that prevent successful attainment of the companys goals
- Interpret business data to understand business impacts, drive employee/team development and analysis of impactful data
- Provide business leaders with data-driven proactive, predictive, decision support
- Play a key role within the HR organization strengthening the use of data-driven analytical thinking and decision making, while supporting the companys safety, quality, velocity and people goals

Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- 4 years or more of equivalent work experience in any of these areas within the HR Organization.
- 4+ years Supervisor experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, networking ability, and business acumen
- High level of knowledge with Microsoft Products, with the ability to provide data analysis, develop presentations, and provide detailed documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Leadership skills proven with prior leadership roles
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Finance, Legal,
- Experience in Human Resources, with Leave Management, Travel and Transport and HR Contract Management
- Excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
- Microsoft Product skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
- Metrics Strategy Development and Analysis
