Join our dedicated team in a pivotal leadership role as our Chief Operations Officer. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, you'll play a crucial role in steering the administrative and business operations of our health center. Your expertise will guide the development and administration of policies in both clinical and business realms, contributing to our strategic vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision: Lead and mentor a dynamic team, overseeing all administrative activities outside of clinical and financial domains. Your leadership will empower managers and administrative staff to excel in their roles.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate in the creation of strategic plans that align with our mission, vision, and values, focusing on delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
Policy Development: Engage in developing, interpreting, and implementing organizational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing operational efficiency.
Quality Improvement: Actively participate in enhancing our quality improvement processes, ensuring the highest standards of care and service.
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the public, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Professional Development: Pursue continuous professional growth, staying abreast of health care administration trends and practices through conferences, journals, and other educational opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Health, Business, or Public Service is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: At least five years of operational management experience, or a decade of experience in medical office management.

Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in a dynamic environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of health care administration, fiscal and human resource management.
Proficiency in planning, organizing, and supervising, with a knack for problem-solving and decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to develop effective relationships and handle emergency situations with a calm demeanor.

Working Conditions:
Physical Demands: This role requires sitting for extended periods, occasional lifting, bending, and stretching, and the use of office equipment.
Environment: Expect a standard office and clinic setting, with occasional exposure to patient-related conditions. Your role may include evening, weekend work, and travel.
Stress Management: Ability to work under stress is essential.
