We are excited to announce the J.Jill Corporate focused Internship Program,our summer 2024 internship which is a 10 week paid internship program running from June through August. This program is a full-time summer commitment. We are currently on a hybrid schedule, so students will be expected to work partially on-site and partially at home.

This program is designed to give rising juniors and seniors an opportunity to gain hands on insight and knowledge within a specialty Retail Company. Interns will participate in daily business activities in their assigned department while having the opportunity to learn about the company overall. Interns will also be able to learn from J. Jill’s senior leaders.

We are looking to bring on a highly analytical, creative and passionate WebMerchandising Intern to support our team in the development and implementation of product, merchandising, and financial strategies across the Direct channels. As a web merchandising intern, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a global understanding of our fast-paced retail environment while performing product analysis and sales trends to guide business decisions.

Works within the Web Merchandising team to help execute J.Jill’s seasonal assortment strategies for web and email and quickly reacts to in-season business based on real-time customer shopping patterns.

Performs daily/weekly inventory checks of future and current featured styles for all digital assets; email, web and social. Learns to project inventory levels using rate of sale information.

Assists in the pre-launch process for the website across both Full Price and Sale sections. Will be instrumental in helping to set up Summer Sale site merchandising and product selection for email.

Prepares priority list and styling guide to share with our Styling vendor Stylitics for each launch.

Executes product outfitting on PDP pages, specifically targeting intital set-up using our styling guide and provides maintenance throughout the floorset.

Monitors Adobe Search report weekly to flag customer search trends and solve for null searches.

Complete a competitive analysis of competitor websites and key stories/promotions during our major floorset launches.

Working toward a Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or related field

Strong organizational skills, able to innovate processes for efficiency.

Quick to take action. Skilled multi-tasker. 

Proactive mindset, with an ownership approach. 

Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, strong time management skills, flexible.

Proficent in Excel.
