Based in beautiful Golden, Colorado, Locution Systems is a pioneer and leader in the Fire Station Alerting Industry. Locution Systems has been improving response times, reducing dispatcher stress, and improving quality of life for first responders for over 30 years. We safely serve the lives and properties of over 50 million people across North America. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Account Executive to join our FSA company. The ideal candidate must have a passion for sales and act as the technical expert during the pre-sales process. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. The Technical Account Executive reports directly to the Head of Sales and will be at the forefront of Locution's business growth, engaging and developing relationships with High Level Executives in the Public Safety Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to increase sales and revenue.
- Identify potential clients and generate leads through market research and networking.
- Prepare and conduct technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and potential customers.
- Available to travel wherever the customer or Head of Sales requires assistance. This will include traveling to attend trade shows and conferences to promote our products and services.
- Prepare and submit sales drawings, proposals, and contracts to clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers in Salesforce.
Requirements:
- Professional sales or marketing experience.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferably in IT, business, or a related field.
- Exhibits confidence and adeptness in interpersonal interactions.
- Displays self-motivation, decisiveness, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail while also dedicating time for critical thinking and continuous improvement.
- Strong Technical/Mechanical proficiency or IT background.
- Ability to wear multiple hats, able to use systems with a high degree of follow through.
- One (1) year of experience working as a Sales Engineer preferred but not required.
- Experience in driving revenue growth through outreach and engaging the right prospects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Skillfully handles multiple tasks and responsibilities concurrently.
- Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication proficiencies.
- Maintains a well-organized approach and consistently meets deadlines.
- Possesses strong computer skills, including proficiency in utilizing Excel.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships.

- Base salary starts at a minimum of $70,000 and is based on experience
