Founded in 1984 in Brighton, Colorado, Watermill Express services customers 24/7 at nearly 1,300 refill locations across the country.
This position requires an organized and detail-oriented individual who possesses a broad knowledge of accounting principles and procedures while having the necessary accounting experience to handle day-to-day duties in a typical accounting department. General duties include general ledger, inventory transactions, journal entries, cash receipts, accounts payable processing and financial reporting. The individual must complete tasks independently while being able to work as a team member in completing accounting department duties requiring full staff participation.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Invoicing
- Reconcile accounts receivable
- Reconcile various bank accounts
- Review, reconcile and record cash transactions
- Prepare and record bank deposits
- Perform general ledger activity as needed
- Review credit card transactions
- Review and submit for payment various licenses and permit for various jurisdictions
- Assist in maintaining property tax records with the Assistant Controller
- Provide back-up support to professionally answer incoming telephone calls and take messages as necessary
- Routine filing
- Research accounting issues as requested
- Assist with various financial report preparation
- Special accounting department projects as assigned
- Other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Detail oriented, organized and excellent communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft office products including Excel
- Ability to work required schedule with acceptable work attendance to perform job
Education, Experience and Certificate :
- Minimum 4 years general accounting experience
- Some college coursework in accounting/finance is desirable
