This Business Operation Manager, Places role will be critical in helping Places move with velocity, while also ensuring that the efforts of each Places sub-team and partner teams are resulting in the intended collective experience for our customers. The candidate will have a strong understanding of the Places product, as well as a deep understanding of the various teams and operations that make up the Places organization. External candidates should be deeply familiar with Real Estate, Facilities, Security, and/or Human Resource organizations and their inner workings. The role will work with the VP of Places and their direct reports to address cross-functional team needs, including team operations and special projects. They will identify overlaps, gaps, and inefficiencies in our operations, and develop solutions that are durable improvements. They will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as they will be responsible for coordinating between multiple teams and stakeholders, as well as representing the teams to key stakeholders.
Experience with functional skills such as business process management, project management, strategic planning, risk management, financial analysis, marketing strategies, customer relationship management, operations management, supply chain management, and quality assurance are also necessary for successful operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Proven experience in business operations, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to represent the organization to key stakeholders.
Knowledge of business processes and procedures.
Understanding of financial principles and budgeting.
Ability to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.
Developing and maintaining operational mechanisms for Places teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficiency.
Collaborating with People, T4I, and other partners to ensure the Places teams are plugged into relevant operational mechanisms.
Supporting the VP of Places, and their direct reports, by ensuring operational mechanisms are optimized, executed, and documented.
Working closely with comms to create and implement an effective comms strategy and voice, and developing presentation assets with the support of the comms team.
Working with Finance and Procurement to develop and monitor a holistic view of Places teams’ spend and identify opportunities for savings.
Coordinating 3/1 year planning efforts.
Overseeing team-wide initiatives, such as diverse vendor spending, cross-functional priorities, etc
Supporting ad hoc and unexpected cross-functional projects.
Reviewing various projects and bodies of work on Places to deconflict overlaps or gaps in works by other Places teams.
Develop and continuously refine Places processes.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $164,500 - 222,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
