Patient Volume: Ave. of 25 per day

Patient Demographics: primarily 60 yrs old

Physicians in Practice:

Peds Ophthalmologist and Neuro Ophthalmologist.

Support staff: Optometric Technicians (trained in retina) tester/photographer glaucoma doc

Duties:

(Clinical): Surgeries in morning and see patients in afternoon for consultations.

Treating patients and consultants and resident training.; Every other Monday are surgeries.

Facilitate educational sessions with the residents on Thu and/or Fri.

(Call): If there s an afterhrs emergency it goes to residents then triage then lastly to the specialist.

Required Procedures/Skills:

Retina tares ruptured globes.

Must be willing to work with residents and providing them educational sessions.

May scrub in w/ the cornea specialist but not a requirement.

Requirements:

MD License or IMLC

BC

Fellowship

At least 2 years of experience
