Full time Safety Manager - Substation security (TRAVELLING) 

 

Start date ASAP: 1st Feb 2024

 

The Safety Manager is responsible for the overall safety of the substation security team. The Safety Manager will develop and implement safety procedures, train employees on safety procedures, and conduct safety inspections. The Safety Manager will also work with other departments to identify and correct safety hazards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety procedures for the substation security team
• Train employees on safety procedures
• Conduct safety inspections
• Work with other departments to identify and correct safety hazards
• Monitor safety trends and make recommendations for improvements
• Report all safety incidents to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in safety 
• CUSP (Electrical T&D endorsement)
• 5+ years of experience in safety management
• Proficiency in high voltages, utility construction, and power delivery
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
