Job description

West Chester Golf & Country Club in West Chester, PA is looking for a dishwasher/prep cook to support culinary staff in their daily operations. We are located on 111 W. Ashbridge St., West Chester, PA. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities:

• Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes
• Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
• Weigh and measure ingredients
• Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Sort and stack clean dishes; Carry clean dishes to proper storage areas

Qualifications:

• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Proven working experience as a dishwasher
• High integrity with a great attendance record
• Experience as a Prep Cook a plus

Hours and Compensation:

• Full-time (35 hours/week)
• Off Monday and Tuesday
• Lunch and Dinner shifts Wednesday - Saturday: just Lunch shift on Sunday
• $16 - $18 per hour. Rate of pay to be determined depending on experience.
