Role Overview:
As a Plastics Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of plastic production. Your mission is to design, develop, and refine manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, ensure product quality, and maximize cost-effectiveness. Through your expertise in plastics engineering, you will lead efforts in structural foam molding, injection molding, and other processes, making our products stand out in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate and optimize manufacturing processes for peak efficiency and quality.
- Spearhead process validations and verifications to uphold industry standards.
- Drive enhancements in production to reduce waste and improve product consistency.
- Design and evaluate tooling and equipment for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers and material scientists to select superior plastics materials.
- Implement quality control measures to achieve product excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Lead projects focused on new product introductions, cost reductions, and process improvements.
- Analyze and resolve production issues to maintain uninterrupted and quality production.

Requirements
Who You Are:
- A dynamic communicator with exceptional analytical skills.
- A self-starter who thrives in both team and autonomous roles.
- Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes, including injection molding, extrusion, and related technologies
- Proficient in CAD, for tooling and fixture design
- project management a plus
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies and relevant standards (ISO, ASTM,,...etc)
- Educated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a deep understanding of plastics manufacturing processes.
