Reliability Manager - $25k sign on bonus
Job Overview: We are seeking a Reliability Center Manager for our East Chicago, IN location. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to achieve strategic reliability goals within a specified region.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee safe, efficient, and quality operations, maintaining technical discipline and rigor among Reliability Center personnel.
Ensure prompt and effective response to all asset-related issues in the region.
Plan and execute TAR/outages in the region, adhering to our company's planning processes.
Identify and implement initiatives to enhance safety and reliability of regional plants.
Optimize maintenance-related Capex and Opex, assisting in overall maintenance cost control.
Implement effective reliability programs and strategies in the region, including EAM/ProCal utilization, PM/PdM programs, RCA programs, Spare Parts inventory management, and adherence to SMPs and Technical Standards.
Foster a continuous improvement culture to meet productivity requirements.
Provide technical expertise as needed, in consultation with engineering resources.
Promote a healthy, team-oriented culture within the Reliability Center and ensure effective development and training of personnel.
Job Requirements:
A blend of office work and field work, requiring accessibility during off-hours and up to 20% domestic travel.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and access elevated equipment via ladders, scaffolding, man-lifts, and crane baskets.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of industrial operations/engineering/reliability/maintenance experience OR an Engineering degree with 5 years in industrial reliability/maintenance.
Proven experience in leading emergency maintenance response and planned outages for industrial plants.
Knowledge of standards and best practices in the installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive/predictive maintenance of industrial systems and equipment.
Strong communication and team interaction skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under time and cost pressures, with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of P&L responsibility.
Experience with air separation process, assets, and operations.
Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., Infor EAM), IMMS systems (e.g., ProCal), and ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards).
