Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Human Resources Manager to lead our HR functions and foster a positive work environment for our team. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities including overseeing employee relations, benefits administration, workers' compensation, leave of absence, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation and payroll management, and the administration of policies and procedures.

As an HR Manager, you will:

Ensure the effective management of HR functions, fostering positive relations among team members and between employees and management.
Provide counseling and facilitate coaching sessions to maintain open lines of communication.
Develop and administer HR plans and procedures that align with the organization's goals.
Lead recruitment efforts, conduct new employee orientations, and manage the onboarding process.
Coordinate the annual benefits open enrollment, manage payroll, maintain employee records, generate HR reports, and conduct audits as required.
Assess employee safety and team interactions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Be responsible for updating and developing policies, procedures, and programs, including succession planning, employee handbooks, training, and security management.
Promote safety initiatives and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
Potentially supervise, coach, or mentor HR Generalists or other staff members.
Collaborate with the HR Director on special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in Human Resource management.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR software (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG, QuickBooks, Paylocity).
Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws.
Professional HR certification (PHR or SPHR) is preferred but not required.
