Job description
Summary:
Deliveries refers to the changing of ownership of a product under specific terms and procedures established by the Exchange upon which the contract is traded. After receipt of the delivered product, the new owner takes possession of the physical product.
Delivery Specialist responsibility is to ensure all deliveries are notified, processed, and procedures are followed for an error free process.
Major Responsibilities: - Deliveries management of the various exchanges globally
- Inform clients for notifications of deliveries
- Client Service Skills
- Issue and retender of metal warrants
- Create/Cancel/CFLO metal warrants for delivery
- Long Position Reporting in spot month for all exchanges prior to the end of day cut off
- Transfer of allowances in Emission deliveries (on EUA, UKA, EEX, and ICEEU/ICEUS)
- Facilitate Energy, Power, and Electricity deliveries on various exchanges
- Process all delivery entries through clients account in GMI
- Notify customers of First Notice Day /Last Trade Day across all markets
- Managing / understanding delivery account structure
- Manage/Process/Knowledgeable/Reconcile in Delivery Margins across applicable exchanges
- Writing of procedures and documents workflow
- Willingly accepts challenging assignments
Qualifications/Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Preferably 2 years of applicable experience required
- Comprehensive understanding of futures products and the physical deliverable products
- Dynamic & proactive team player with the ability to identify process inefficiencies to improve capacity, efficiency and controls
- Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative
- Excellent Reconciliation / Problem Solving Skills
- Time Management Skills and ability to work under pressure
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; notably the ability to clearly articulate issues and influence resolution
- Superior organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Flexible hours - this position may require working public holidays and shift changing
