Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer to join our Radiology/Cardiology team. As an integral member of our healthcare team you will play a vital role in providing highquality echocardiography services. Key Responsibilities:

• Echocardiography:
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures.
  • Utilize Doppler and color flow imaging techniques for accurate assessments.
• Patient Care:
  • Prepare and position patients for cardiac imaging procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during echocardiography examinations.
• Equipment Operation:
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment ensuring proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with the radiology/cardiology team to troubleshoot and address equipment issues.
• Image Quality Assurance:
  • Review and evaluate echocardiographic images for quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure diagnostic images meet standards.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records including imaging protocols and patient information.
  • Adhere to documentation standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification
• State licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Minimum of X years of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification (preferred)

Skills:

• Proficiency in echocardiography techniques
• Strong understanding of cardiac imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
