Job description

Our client leads the market in sales, rentals, parts and servicing of new and pre-owned construction equipment. Naviga has been retained to identify a Sales Manager. Title: Sales Manager Location: Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL or Jacksonville, FL Key Points: Join a rapidly expanding division, established independently in 2020, with plans for a new branch opening in Orlando by 2024. Seize the opportunity to lead a dynamic sales team across multiple locations. Drive sales strategy and execution with a strategic focus, capitalizing on diverse customer bases in urban and rural areas. Responsibilities: Lead the business unit objectives for sales and profit performance, to include driving top line sales, market share and bottom line profit Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to sales team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance and ethical behavior Monitor, manage and direct supervision of Account Managers to include responsibility for selection, hiring, development, training, performance management and new hire procedures Ensure execution on monthly expectations and standards, strategies and action items, to include use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, execution of sales opportunities and safety procedures Manage payroll, productivity and staffing in region/branch against established performance expectations and objectives Lead bench strength planning in order to achieve and maintain sales growth requirements Ensure execution of all people-related initiatives i.e., training, compensation approvals, performance management process, recognition & fostering positive morale Manage and coordinate all requests received from other sales areas, branches, corporate, etc. Partner with cross functional partners (Human Resources, Finance, Technology, etc.) to ensure assigned locations are in alignment with the company in all process and direction Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: 7+ years' experience in roles with increasing responsibility preferred 3+ years’ experience leading a Sales team of 4+ Account Managers preferred 3+ years’ experience leading in a multi-unit work environment preferred Excellent time management skills to include prioritization of tasks, communication, and execution to meet established deadlines Excellent customer service, communication and multi-tasking skills Strong leadership and people development skills Strong financial acumen, including capital buying process, cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision making and quantitative analysis Ability to assess customer patterns and adjust labor and branch focus accordingly Thorough knowledge of all systems, procedures, techniques, equipment, operations, standards and reports that apply to the sales process Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel Analytical decision making preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required Ideal Personality Characteristics: Competitive Intelligent Self Starter Self Motivated Organized Driven Benefits/Perks : Comprehensive Health Benefits Employee Stock Options Retirement Program Mileage Reimbursement Tuition Reimbursement Paid Holidays Paid Vacation 401k Comparable Titles Sales Director Sales Team Leader Regional Sales Manager Area Sales Manager Sales Supervisor Sales Operations Manager Sales and Marketing Manager National Sales Manager
