Job Description:

Are you a seasoned Logistics professional looking to make a significant impact? Join our Logistics Planning team in a hybrid role that allows occasional remote work, providing the perfect balance of flexibility and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate daily with client plant materials analysts, logistics operations/procurement, carriers, and suppliers to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in inbound logistics.
Utilize data analysis skills and established systems/processes to support plant materials analysts in maintaining part-level container data.
Support logistics network optimization activities, including plant-specific requirements, operational feasibility reviews, and implementation support.
Design and manage plant logistics costs to budget; analyze data to identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are identified and implemented.
Analyze cross dock material flow, facility utilization, common intra-regional process application, and transportation route utilization.
Travel required approximately 20% (U.S, Mexico, Canada).
Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; Logistics, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
5-8 years' experience in lean logistics responsibility in a JIT environment.
Proven ability to follow up, bring projects to completion, and meet deadlines.
Experience and knowledge with Lean Material Flow.
Excellent communication skills for teaching, monitoring, and reporting logistics activities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in data mining from various FBAP and TMS systems.
Working knowledge of supplier ordering, logistics, and material scheduling.
Working knowledge of supply chain modeling, simulation, and software systems.
Bilingual in Spanish (both oral and written) preferred.
Experience in international logistics and material management responsibility is a plus.
