Description:

The Overhead Crane Operator will have the following responsibilities:

- Candidates will operate different machines in the facility

- Operation of a double hoist crane to move steel

- Shot blasting machine is strictly just button pressing and watching the shot clean the steel

- Operation of saw after training for cutting steel

- Use of measurements in fractions and decimals for steel

- Use of tape measure to measure out cuts

- Learning how to use a crane to load and unload parts

- Cleanup of general area

- Helping other departments as needed

- Reading customer specifications

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

- Operation of a Crane (Pendant control, double hoist, etc)

-2+ years in an Industrial or manufacturing background

- Ability to read a tape measure

- Good math skills (fractions and decimals)

- Willingness to learn different machines across the facility (shot blasting, saw, crane, etc)

- Willing to get dirty
