Are you passionate about shaping the future of data integration? We are seeking a Senior Application System Engineer to join our dynamic team! As a crucial member of our data integration team, you will play a pivotal role in making diverse data sources accessible through microservices, APIs, and Kafka topics. From leading the development of back-end web applications to designing SQL databases and schemas, you'll be at the forefront of transforming concepts into finished products.
Responsibilities: Data Integration Leadership: Be a driving force behind the integration of data from various sources, ensuring accessibility through microservices, APIs, and Kafka topics. Web Application Development: Lead the development of robust back-end web applications, contributing to the entire implementation process. Database Design: Spearhead the design of SQL databases and schemas, ensuring efficiency and reliability in data management. Project Leadership: Take charge of projects from conception to completion, meeting both technical and consumer needs effectively. Microservices and API Development: Lead the design and development of microservices and APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity. Collaboration and Communication: Engage with business partners to understand their needs, providing innovative solutions and ensuring overall satisfaction. Solution Design: Take responsibility for the overall design of solutions, incorporating best practices and addressing business requirements. Application Development and Testing: Design, build, and test applications to deliver high-quality solutions. Performance Optimization: Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes, ensuring optimal functionality. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of relevant experience. Technical Proficiency: Strong application development skills using C#, Java, or similar languages. Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot. Agile Methodology: Advanced knowledge of Agile methodology, with a proven track record of successful implementation. Database Skills: Proficient in SQL and data retrieval from relational database systems. Strong database skills using Oracle and MongoDB. Web Development: Expert knowledge in web development using HTML, XML, XSL, XSLT, jQuery, CSS, and AJAX. Workflow and Process Development: Experienced in workflow design, configuration, and process development, with a solid understanding of business process concepts. Version Control and Automation: Experience with versioning tools such as Git (ideally BitBucket) and automated frameworks. Healthcare Experience: While not mandatory, healthcare experience is strongly preferred, showcasing an understanding of business processes in the field. Problem-Solving Skills: Critical thinker and excellent problem-solver. Communication and Leadership: Strong communication skills with a servant leadership mentality. Background in working in Agile software development environments.
