Job Description:

• Proven experience in technical leadership roles, overseeing complex projects involving data products
• Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics and related technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Technical proficiency in this order of priority: Databricks, AWS data engineering services, Airflow, Redshift, Athena, and Glue
• HM notes : Candidates should have stakeholder management experience , be able to effectively communicate to non-technical audience (explain technical details to non technical stakeholders for decision making). Should have experience in leading delivery across multiple teams in a matrix environment.
• AstraZeneca is looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to join the Commercial Business Reporting (CBR) project which centers around building out Level II reports for BU leaders and their direct reports. The Technical Delivery Lead will support multiple data engineering teams from a technical level by coordinating and translating business requirements into a clear data product roadmap. These data products are the backend tool that support the frontend reporting which is Power BI. They will also be the voice of the delivery teams back to key business stakeholders. This will not be a hands-on technical role from a development perspective but this individual needs to have deep expertise in building out data products to effectively support the project vision.
