Job description
Position Overview: We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Manager is responsible for providing high-level tax planning, analysis, and compliance services for clients, and will specialize in providing tax services to high net worth individuals (HNW), their businesses and trusts, gifts, estates, and other entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tax planning and advice for high net worth individuals and their businesses, trusts, gifts, estates and other entities
- Review corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and gift tax returns
- Manage the preparation and review of tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, gifts, estates, and other entities
- Develop estate, gift, and trust plans, including tax planning and compliance
- Provide research of complex tax issues and present in clear, concise manner
- Assist in the representation of clients before federal and state taxing authorities
- Train and mentor staff on tax compliance and planning
Qualifications:
- CPA certification
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting on tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals, trusts, gifts, estates, and other entities
- A thorough understanding of federal and state tax laws
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
