Associate Trauma Medical Director

North Suburban Medical Center has partnered with Extant Healthcare to manage their growing trauma program. With over 17 years’ experience in trauma management, Extant Healthcare was founded and is still led by trauma surgeons. We are financially stable with immense growth opportunities on the horizon.

Trauma Program:
• 157-bed Acute Care Facility
• Level II State Verified Trauma Center (ACS in process)
• Trauma Service covers 100% acute care surgery
• 2200 trauma admissions per year
• ED Volume: 65k
• 28 ICU beds with 24/7 Intensivist
• General Surgery Residents from Swedish Medical Center

Trauma Surgeon Criteria:
• Board Certified General Surgery with Trauma/ Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Required
