Position Summary: The East Cobb Jet's Pizza location seeks
Delivery Drivers that enjoy the time critical demands of transporting customer deliveries from the restaurant to a customer's desired location, while also assisting with customer demands in the restaurant. There is never a dull moment with this multifaceted position. The work requires reliability, a level of multitasking, attention to detail, and a desire to exhibit exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Driver Task Execution - Follows the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a vehicle.
- Communicates with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to make deliveries.
- Checks orders before delivery to ensure that the correct products have been made, and that charges are accurate.
- Meets delivery deadlines, while delivering orders to customers' homes and businesses.
- Manages cash and card payments upon delivery, as needed.
Inter-Restaurant Task Execution - Restocks pizza boxes in the restaurant.
- Utilizes the POS and phone system to take orders as customers call in.
- Maintains restaurant standards by stocking and cleaning.
- Ensures restaurant cleanliness daily by washing, sanitizing, and drying dishes.
- Enforces and maintains safety and food quality standards.
- Timely arrives for shift starts on time and stays until all duties are complete.
Required Qualifications: - Valid driver's license, current insurance, and vehicle registration.
- Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
- Success with exhibiting exceptional customer service.
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
- Willingness to work long shifts.
- Ability to keep inventory organized.
- Great verbal communication skills.
- Follows all food and Department of Transportation safety guidelines.
