Mainframe Tester

$43/hr – $46/hr
Grow your career as a Mainframe Tester with an innovative global bank in New Castle, DE. Contract role with strong possibility of extension and/or conversion. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience
+ 3-6 years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer/QA Analyst working on Mainframe applications testing.
+ Must have experience working on Mainframe systems.
+ Experience in Mainframe Job set ups, Execution, Debugging, Test data creation using File-Aid, Data validation on DB2, MF job submission from OPCT and checking error queues, SPUFI / QMF , TSO / ISPF , JCL , CICS , COBOL .
+ Experience in system testing including functional, regression, integration testing of client/server and web-based applications.
+ Experience in E2E Integrated Testing.
+ Ability to write user stories, test plans, test cases, execute those, open and manage defect life cycle.
+ Sound knowledge of Jira Tool (Epics/Stories/Tasks/Issues/Dashboard/Reports & Defects ).
+ Knowledge of Zephyr Tool.
+ Sound knowledge of SDLC : Waterfall, Agile methodologies.
+ Must have Banking industry experience.
+ Knowledge of automation functional & regression testing tools.
Desired Skills & Experience
+ Payments Domain experience.
+ Knowledge of check processing & clearing process in the financial system.
