Job description

Lady Di Daycare & Preschool in Clio, MI. is looking to add a qualified member to our team!

Applicant must be friendly, outgoing, and able to conduct themselves in a professional manner when communicating with staff and parents. An Associate in Early Childhood or a CDA is required for lead caregiver positions, and experience in childcare is preferred. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is a plus, but applicants can be trained.

The Lead caregiver is responsible for overseeing all classroom functions. This includes, but is not limited to, daily schedule, lesson planning, cleaning duties, classroom arrangement, and building strong relationships with our families while still maintaining confidentiality.

Other Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities
• Keep records of children's progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents
• Assist in preparing food and serving meals
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in this field is a plus
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, bend and stand
