POSITION SUMMARY

As the Manager of Equity (under the direction of the Executive Director, Equity), spearhead a variety of programs, including district-wide equity initiatives, periodic projects or annual programs, ad-hoc reporting, and provides a layer of assurance for timeliness, quality, and sustainability of the initiatives and programs related to Equity.

Salary

$80,782/Annually

FLSA Exempt

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (social justice, management, education, etc.) and/or 5+ years of demonstrated work experience in the related field. Master's degree preferred.

Ability to work cross-functionally across departments and engage multiple aligned with the Memorandum of Understanding, District Equity Plans, and Superintendent's goals.

Strong, effective communication, analytical, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.

Must possess strong presentation and facilitation skills.

3+ years of proven progressively responsible experience in project management in an educational/government institution; Certification in PMI, preferred.

Skilled use of Microsoft Office applications and additional technology platforms required. including social media outlets, Google Workspace, and other management tools and software.

Strong competencies in urban issues, racial equity, anti-racism, implicit-bias, and cultural consciousness.

Essential Job Functions

-In collaboration with the Executive Director, support District Departments and Offices to deliver equitable results as outlined in the administration of Policy #102.5.

-Coordinate all aspects of programs, projects, and initiatives by coordinating management responsibilities, encompassing planning, design, consultation, implementation, and evaluation. Ensure a focus on timely delivery, exceptional quality, and long-term sustainability. Generate comprehensive reports and adapt workflow as necessary to maintain efficiency and excellence.

-Work closely, cross-functionally with departments ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and alignment of goals outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding, District Equity Plans, and Superintendent's Priorities.

-Conduct and apply applicable research to inform workstreams to yield impactful outcomes for equity-centered initiatives and programs.

-Curate learning resources that strengthen the Office?s ability to share with stakeholders internally and externally on various platforms.

-Coordinate administrative tasks by allocating work, offering project information, and providing support for project objectives (i.e., EAP convenings notes, professional learning and training tracking, focus group sessions support, MUNIS for processing payments to vendors, Frontline timekeeping, BoardDocs, etc.).

-Identify potential opportunities guided by equity considerations and implement best practices to optimize their management efficiency.

-Other relevant duties as assigned by the Supervisor in support of the department's goals and objectives and the District's mission and Superintendent's Priority Goals.
