Job description

Kaman Air Vehicles, in Bloomfield, CT, is looking for an ambitious student to join our Environmental Health & Safety department for the 2024 Summer internship program. The Kaman internship program affords an opportunity for students currently enrolled in college to gain real work experience for and provides the business visibility and opportunity to draw on local talent for future employment needs. The EH&S Intern will be assisting with environmental health and safety activities on site.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assist in current EH&S Projects.
• Complete data entry, audits, and assist with training.
• Consistently use excel and PowerPoint, as well as other various internal software systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic knowledge of environmental health and safety.
• Experience using Microsoft suite including excel and PowerPoint.

• Current college student enrolled in a 4-year program of study required; exiting 2nd or 3rd year preferred.
• Major in Environmental Health & Safety, or another related field, required.
