What we need:
As the Marketing Automation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing automation initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing automation strategies while also collaborating closely cross-functionally with different marketing functions, sales operations and IT to ensure seamless integration and alignment of processes. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in marketing automation and a strong background in sales enablement.
What you’ll do:
Marketing Automation Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing automation strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Identify opportunities for automation within marketing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing of automation workflows to optimize performance.
- Continuously improve automation processes and campaigns based on results.
Platform Management:
- Support implementation of marketing automation platform, as well as integrations into other platforms.
- Implement best practices for data hygiene, segmentation, and personalization within the platform.
- Manage our Sales Enablement platform Showpad, ensuring the content is up to date, improving the structure based on business needs.
- Develop and lead sales training initiatives related to Showpad and other sales and marketing platforms.
- Oversee and manage the marketing automation platform to ensure optimal performance and utilization.
Demand Generation Campaign Development and Execution:
- Design, build, and deploy automated marketing campaigns, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and customer retention campaigns.
- Collaborate with different marketing teams to create compelling and targeted messaging for different audience segments.
- Manage demand generation initiatives, including CEUs and other thought leadership content development and day-to-day management.
- Develop and manage an editorial calendar for email initiatives. Identify opportunities for segmented email communications.
Lead Lifecycle Management:
- Develop and optimize lead scoring models to identify and prioritize high-value leads.
- Implement lead nurturing programs to guide prospects through the sales funnel.
- Work with Sales operations to define and optimize lead scoring and lead management processes.
- Work cross-functionally to develop efficient marketing automation workflows, test and optimize based on results.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports to the marketing team.
- Develop analytic dashboards to showcase metrics and results.
- Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on lead generation and conversion goals.
- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate marketing automation platforms with other systems as needed.
- Collaborate with sales to support sales enablement processes and content, as well as lead management and scoring.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in marketing automation, with hands-on expertise in platforms such as Hubspot, Bloomreach Engagement, SAP Marketing Cloud.
- Proven track record of lead lifecycle management and demand generation. ABM experience a plus.
- Data-driven and results-oriented in planning and execution.
- Experience orchestrating plays and partnering with sales teams to deliver results.
