Retail Technology Support Specialist

This position is hybrid; working both in-office and remotely.
Wage range : $65,000 - 75,000 annually, depending on experience.
What you will do The
Retail/Project Technology Specialist is responsible for implementing and supporting retail-related IT systems, Point of Sale, Mobile Apps, digital signage, JIT feedback and reservation solutions. Additionally, this role will support Healthcare, Corporate Dining, and Senior Living customer and patient-facing technologies. This includes the recommendations for technology and retail solutions to existing and new clients.

- Supports PCI compliance for credit card transactions.
- Knows Point of Sale (POS) and Kiosk technologies.
- Coordinates and supports deployment of new POS systems as needed.
- Technology liaison for new business openings (POS, digital signage, Mobile App, etc).
- Develops training and educational programs for the various POS and Patient Services System to educate operators.
- Works closely with culinary, operations, and sales teams.
- Help Support Units with POS needs, including menus, discounts, reporting, standardization, etc.
- Project Management -scoping the needs, pricing the project, and establishing timelines.
- Deployment and coordination of POS systems and supports Patient Services system projects.
- Other Duties as assigned by the VP of IT.
What you will need - Two (2) year technical degree OR equivalent software/networking experience required.
- Self-motivated individual with troubleshooting and analysis skillset.
- Experience with a Point of Sale system that includes the configuration, setup, deployment, and training.
- Extended overnight travel as needed.
- Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and training skills.
- Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong understanding of PCI-DSS requirements preferred.
- Background in Foodservice, Healthcare, and Hospitality industry preferred
- Multitasking skills are essential and must have the ability to lead meetings and project planning.
