- Conduct thorough legal research on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents such as patent applications, trademark registrations, and licensing agreements.
- Manage and organize legal files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- Coordinate communication with clients, government agencies, and opposing parties regarding IP-related matters.
- Support the legal team in case preparation, including gathering evidence and organizing relevant documentation.
- Stay current on changes in IP laws and regulations to provide timely and informed assistance to the legal team.
- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.
- Certification as a paralegal is preferred.
- Proven experience as a paralegal specializing in intellectual property law.
- Strong knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright law.
- Proficient in legal research and document preparation.
"3 days in office work and 2 days hybrid work.
" Little Falls, NJ or NY, NY location.
" Full-time, non-exempt, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. 5 p.m. (one hour lunch).
" Overtime (over 40 hours) may be required from time to time.
" Compensation range $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience and location.
