Job description
Responsibilities* Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, making key tags and driving vehicles from the service lanes to the service stalls.
- Moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved.
- Keeping the service drop-off area clean and free of debris.
- Retrieving newly-serviced vehicles for customers.
- Contributes to customer satisfaction by providing prompt, efficient, and quality service.
- Pays attention to “small details” before delivering a car to a customer.
- Maintains cleanliness of service department and technician work areas including shop floors and maintaining trash receptacles.
- Shuttling customers to their homes, places of business or a designated spot such as a mass transit stop, and picking them up after their vehicle is serviced in a timely manner.
- Using good judgment and safe driving skills while being courteous to customers.
- Communicating with the dealership to report any problems or delays.
- Documenting trips, including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point.
- Maintaining the vehicle's appearance and notifying the manager if the vehicle requires servicing.
- Assist the department and dealership as needed during down time.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
- Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Compensation
Pay range for this position starts at $15 per hour. Pay rate is ultimately based on experience.
